"I was commissioned by Wizard magazine to paint this image just before San Diego's Comicon.  At this time, I remembered an extremely intimidating dude who roams the halls of Comicon every year dressed as Wolverine (or rather Logan). If you've ever attended,  he is the muscular guy with no shirt and razor-sharp claws (you can't miss him!).

Anyway, I stopped him in the halls and he graciously agreed to pose for a few photos.  I was able to use them as a basis for this illustration." - Greg Horn
